To reach everyone with the good news of Jesus.

Our Mission

Inspired by Jesus’ last commandment to his disciples in Matthew 28:19, Mark 16:15, and Acts 1:8, our mission is to reach as many people as we can with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We believe God is moving powerfully through New City. We’re not interested being a church built on a personality or good strategy. We’re in it for the real thing. We want more of God. We’re also a family united around Jesus and his mission in the world. We’re committed to Jesus and each other.

A move of God and a family on mission

Who We Are

What We Do

  • We don’t just want to know about God, we want to encounter Him. We’re not about “playing church.” We’re about a real relationship with Jesus.

  • Aren’t you tired of flaky community? Real community takes commitment. So we commit deeply to the mission and each other.

  • God’s vision for you is that you become more like Jesus. We can help you get there.

  • Jesus came to seek and save the lost. Therefore, so do we. We’re on a mission to reach everyone with the good news of Jesus.

  • Healthy disciples make disciples. We’re not in it to make one-time converts. We’re here to make life-long disciples who make more disciples.

The Bible is True.

Jesus is Better.

Our Core Convictions

The Church is a People.

The Mission is Worth It.

A Christian community in every neighborhood and a church in every direction.

Our Vision

Our long term dream for Austin is to see a thriving Christian community within a 10-minute drive to everyone in the Austin area and a full-blown congregation in every “direction” in the city (North, South, East, West, Central). We see this as the best way to reach everyone in the city.

Our Benediction

We end each service with this reminder of our story and commitment to live it out each week.

We the church are a move of God and a family on mission to reach everyone with the good news of Jesus. We believe Jesus is better, the Bible is true, the church is a people, and the mission is worth it. We pursue His presence, commit to community, equip the saints, reach the lost, and multiply disciples together. So this week I will pursue Jesus through prayer and reading His Word. I will commit to Christian community, to being known, and to growing with other believers. I will repent when I fall short, knowing that Christ died for my sin. And I will share the good news of Jesus with the lost around me, wherever I go, until all have heard. Amen.
